About This Video
Harry reports on an internship called LEAF, or Leaders of Environmental Action for the Future. It brings in high school students to work on nature preserves across the country. We profile a site where the interns are creating rain gardens that use specific plants to help capture water runoff that may contain harmful chemicals. The rain garden disperses this water in a garden rather than allowing it to flow into rivers and streams which we rely on for drinking water.
