On May 31st there is unique conference started by a 10 year old proving kids can make a difference! It includes, among many things, a Recycled Fashion Show, demonstrations and awards for Junior Inventors and Scientists who show how to make the world a 'Greener' place!
There are lots of hands-on-activities, speaker sessions, and information that is sure to keep adults and kids of all ages curious and interested!
The topics covered in this conference range from Clean Technology, Alternative Resources, Climate Science, Waste Management, Air Quality, Land & Nature Preservation, Energy & Water Conservation, Biomimicry, and much more.
The founder, Pavan Raj Gowda, is now 14 years old, and he has been organizing this conference since he was 10 years old. This conference is one of the services, offered through his non-profit organization, Green Kids Now, Inc., which he founded when he was just 8 years old. His vision for his organization is to “build responsible innovators”.
In the past conferences more than 800 people participated each year. Admission is free and is open to everyone.
